Education Should Be Embraced, Not Rejected |

by The Brother
Obtaining an education is a tool that can be used to succeed in life, and increase one’s upward mobility. It teaches people how to operate within an increasingly sophisticated society, in which people who are uneducated are forced to labor under people whose sense of morality is often corrupted by the quest for profit. Learning provides people with knowledge of facts concerning math, science, and history, while also teaching logical reasoning skills that form the foundation for intelligence. Logical reasoning is an important skill that Black people need to acquire and possess. The reason that the most respected Black leaders and thinkers are supported, is because they are able to see the truth and convey it to the masses of Black people. Their knowledge, and the ability to communicate what they know, was obtained as the result of educating themselves, through questioning and careful learning. But the lack of these skills is causing many potentially great Black minds to go undeveloped. Too many young Black people are forsaking mandatory schooling. I know people who have done it for silly reasons such as they didn’t like school, they would rather work, or life as a criminal seemed more appealing. Such decisions often lead to a life of suffering, where said people have to live their lives at the mercy of others. They also have to waste time doing what they would already have accomplished if they had made the correct decisions earlier in their life. It is sad that Black minds are being wasted when we should all be working to overcome the damage that white supremacy has done to us. Instead of finishing school, many Black youth drop out, which helps to ensure that more Black people will become part of the underclass that supports the wealthy; particularly, the white supremacist power structure. This is accomplished in many ways, and is evident by the power that exists because of capitalism and the prison-industrial complex. The acquisition of knowledge by Black people is the key to our success, and to ending the reign of white supremacy. And all Black people should constantly seek to acquire knowledge, so that we will never again live at the mercy of a wicked race of devils. Black Anti-Intellectualism Oprah Winfrey recently completed construction on a $40 million academy for girls in South Africa. This has led to criticism from people who feel that she should have used her money to help other Blacks in America, rather than Blacks in South Africa. Her response to her critics was very telling about the lack of intellectualism amongst poor Blacks in America. During an interview with Newsweek, she said that she had become:
“so frustrated with visiting inner-city schools that I just stopped going. The sense that you need to learn just isn't there," she says. "If you ask the kids what they want or need, they will say an iPod or some sneakers. In South Africa, they don't ask for money or toys. They ask for uniforms so they can go to school."
Due to my upbringing in a Black American ghetto, I know that Oprah’s comments concerning the lack of importance placed upon education by inner-city Black kids is unfortunately true. I also find no fault with her decision to help South African girls, because many of our people in other countries live in worse conditions than we do, and lack the opportunities that we have in America. Far too many of the people that I grew up with dropped out of school, because they considered school unimportant. Rather than viewing the obtainment of an education as a way to increase the chances that their future children would not have to endure the suffering that we were forced to experience, they chose to reject school, and elevate money and the acquisition of material goods to the level that their education should have been. From my experience, these misguided beliefs are the result of an improper upbringing. Children are a reflection of the way that they are raised. And if their parents do not develop their self-esteem, Black children will seek to compensate for their feelings of inferiority by adopting the mindset that they are only complete as long as they possess material goods. Such feelings are foolish because they often result in Black’s obtaining those goods through illegal means, thereby causing them to become a hindrance, rather than a benefit to their race. If we accept Oprah’s statement as true, a logical conclusion that can be reached is that our brothers and sisters overseas appreciate what they do not have, while many Black Americans have taken an education for granted. The opportunity to learn does not exist in many other countries where Black people live, while it is free for us Black Americans. I recently read something where a Jamaican emphasized this point, and appeared to wonder why many Black Americans do not value the education that is accessible to all, whereas in Jamaica, it is only available for the elite. That thought reveals the troubling position that we are in. History of Black American Education
“it was unlawful, as well as unsafe, to teach a slave to read... ‘If you give a nigger an inch, he will take an ell. A nigger should know nothing but to obey his master-to do as he is told to do. Learning would spoil the best nigger in the world...if you teach that nigger...how to read, there would be no keeping him. It would forever unfit him to be a slave. He would at once become unmanageable, and of no value to his master’”
(Douglass, 1845)
Black people in America have not always had the opportunity to learn and receive an education. When our ancestors were slaves, it was illegal for Black people to learn how to read. If a Black person was caught reading, or otherwise attempting to educate themselves, they were beaten or worse, because an educated slave was deemed a threat to white supremacy. The fact that Black slaves continued trying to embrace learning, even under threat of severe physical harm, shows that they were eager to enhance their intelligence, which they knew could be used as a tool to obtain liberation. Considering this, it is extremely saddening that many Blacks in the modern era have completely rejected learning, which is the reason that they continue to be mental and economic slaves to the white supremacist power structure. When slavery ended and Blacks were freed, our ancestors began their lives anew with little or no resources, relying solely upon their own strength and determination to succeed. They created schools to improve the intellect of themselves and their children as honkeys refused to admit them to their institutions. This included the creation of grammar schools and colleges by Black people. Such conduct constituted a form of rebellion against white supremacy, because our people knew that learning would prevent them from being dumb, stupid negroes, who were easy prey for whites. The Black people who created the schools that were used to educate the newly freed slaves and their progeny, possessed a mindset that many Black people in the modern era lack: a desire to improve themselves through education. Many of them built those early institutions without the resources and assistance of white people. They did this with what little they had, even if it meant one Black adult dispensing their knowledge in front of a group of Black youth, who were seated before them on a dirt floor. This desire to improve their lives under these circumstances taught these Blacks the importance of providing for themselves, and to make the best out of what they had. The struggle that they endured reveals how much they wanted to succeed, and provides an example of the independence and self-determination that may Blacks need to regain. Segregated Schooling In America, the schools that are attended by a majority of Black students have never been adequately funded. This environment was especially prevalent before the U.S. Supreme Court Decision in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka (1954). Conditions that precipitated the case were little better than the schools that were created after the end of slavery to end Blacks. And the reason that the case was successful was because of the feelings of inferiority that were bred within the minds of Black children, who were aware of racism and the fact that they were treated as if they were lesser than white people. Case studies were performed to support the case, and revealed that Black children considered themselves ugly, and believed that the European aesthetic represented true beauty. Such feelings of self-loathing existed because of the constant bombardment of media images of white success and Black inferiority; knowledge of white peers being provided with more resources; and the witnessing of Black subservience and submission to crackers. These conditions caused the NAACP to launch a crusade to end segregated schooling, with the case in Kansas being used because a Black girl was forced to travel a long distance, encountering unsafe conditions, in order to reach her segregated school. The U.S. Supreme Court sided with the NAACP, ending segregation not only in schools, but in all public facilities. Although this decision was intended to create equality for black people, it had an opposite effect. Integration in schools did not create equality for Blacks because honkeys refused to accept blacks as being the equal of whites. Rednecks withdrew their children from schools in which their kids would have to attend with Blacks; they blocked the entrances to schools so that Blacks could not attend, resulting in the military being sent to force honkeys to allow Blacks to enter; and they harassed Black students upon admittance, thereby ensuring that Blacks could not enjoy the attainment of an education. Some schools were closed after the court decision when honkeys refused to attend schools with Blacks. Rather than follow the supreme law of the country that the claimed to love so dearly, some white school boards ordered the closing of schools, rather than comply with the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court. (This should not be surprising since this country was founded by white trash, religious fanatics, and others who could not live in harmony with their white brethren in Europe). Such acts of defiance increased the hardships that blacks were forced to endure, which unfortunately strengthened the inferiority complex that exists inside the minds of many Black people today. The hardships inflicted upon Black people affected the self-esteem of some, because it has, and continues to provide, all of us with an example of white people falsely believe that they are superior to us; reality proves otherwise. Since the decision in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka (1954). various measures have been undertaken to ensure that Black students are treated equally, but as a whole they have failed. And regardless of the mechanisms that were utilized, they have always been contested by honkeys. In a country that is constantly advertising how it is more righteous than other countries; and that has declared that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights” (DOI); it would be reasonable to think that Blacks would one day be treated as the equal of whites. But that is unlikely to ever occur in this country, because it would counter the nature of the devilish white race. Racial Classism This country was founded upon racism and the commission of atrocities against Blacks and other non-white people. Despite this, many people invoke the Civil Rights Movement as a means of showing societal progress, and many stupid white people think that racism has ended because of this. There is a christian saying that the biggest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world that he didn’t exist. Since the white man is the devil, the biggest trick that he has played in this country is convincing people that racism doesn’t exist! Trickery allows the devil to continue his tyranny against us, which he does not want disturbed. It is also the reason why he seeks to eliminate those of us who seek to enlighten and organize our people. Fragmented and ignorant people are easier to control. Therefore, separating the awakened away from the comatose amongst us, would facilitate his reign of terror and allow him to remain in power. This cannot be allowed to continue. While continuing to be present, racism has evolved into classism. In this form of prejudice and discrimination, people who have less economically are treated worse than those who have more. And due to the devil not having remedied America’s history of racism, Black people suffer from a lack of resources, because opportunities for us to acquire more have been limited. This means that we suffer under both racism and classism, which makes it more insulting when American Anglo’s and their immigrant brethren criticize us for not having more. The effects of this legacy on the education that most of us receive, is that we are deprived of the quality of education that white people receive in their communities. Classism allows people who have a lot of money – traditionally white people – to influence legislation, and manipulate politicians for their own benefit. Because of this, funding for schools is not calculated equally, and is based on property values. This is the reason that most white students receive a better education in public schools than Black students: they traditionally have more money than us. Their wealth allows them to purchase more expensive homes than us, and because school funding is based on property values, their schools receive more funding than do ours. And to prevent Black people from becoming upwardly mobile through the educational system, those honkeys oppose affirmative action, because it might allow Black people to compete against them in institutions of learning and the job market, which they do not want. Opposing affirmative action represents a form of hypocrisy, because many of the white people who oppose it, benefit from it. There are many white people from affluent families who are admitted to prestigious institutions, and given jobs and other benefits, either because of who their relatives are, or the wealth of their family. As I attended college at a prestigious university – it is considered one of the top 30 universities in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report - one of my white professors told me the names of people in my class who were the progeny of wealthy and famous people. He said that many of them would be unsuccessful because they lacked the scholastic aptitude needed to succeed. This professor told me that the only reason they were at our university was because of the families of which they were members. Research has been conducted that supports what that professor told me. Such studies have shown that Blacks and other non-white people, who lack family connections and wealth, have been denied admittance to prestigious institutions. It was determined that some of those same institutions admitted white students who were less academically qualified, but who gained admittance because of their pedigree. An heir to one of the wealthiest families in this country, who graduated in the same ceremony in which I graduated, had her degree revoked. The reason was because the university discovered that she had not done her own work: she paid a poor Hispanic student to write her papers for her. Ironically, that Hispanic female later dropped out of college because she could not afford to continue attending our university. Instances like these are things that honkeys do not consider when they criticize affirmative action programs that benefit people of color. They know that if they did, they would be exposed as hypocrites, and their belief in their innate superiority over us would be destroyed. What Happened? Has our past and present mistreatment by honkeys caused some Black people to believe that they are the dumb niggers that white folks think we are? Sadly, I think the answer is yes. Having been raised in a lower middle class neighborhood, in which a majority of the people were Black, I have seen the expressions of low self-esteem of some Black people. As I said in Motive Yourself: You Have the Power, some of my Black classmates said that I talked like a white boy because I spoke proper English - and they criticized academic excellence. Usually, such people were of the variety who received government assistance. And rather than viewing an education as a means of uplifting themselves and their families – who consisted of the uneducated; criminals; and people who were predators within the Black community – they sought to hinder the success and happiness of people whose achievements would benefit the Black race. When considering the fact that they came from families in which there had been little if any upward mobility as generations progressed, one must wonder whether they hated themselves. They are averse to learning as if they fear that they will be beaten for it, as were our ancestors in the past. Sadly, their disdain for intellectual acquisition is an expression of comfort with being an economic slave, who has no problem being misused by the devil. In addition to criticizing Blacks who embraced learning, those ignorant negroes expressed their lack of interest in learning by being disruptive in the classroom. I have seen such people hold conversations while the teacher was speaking, thereby disturbing other students who were trying to learn; and refuse to do their work, which can negatively influence others, and is detrimental to the creation of an environment that is conducive to learning. Many of them also engaged in violence and criminal activity at school, which causes resources to be diverted towards safety, rather than instruction. When I entered high school, I was placed in a program that consisted of the more studious students at the school. This experience further revealed the contrasts that exist when some Blacks are raised properly – and are taught to value their education – while others are raised improperly, and consider their education a burden. People on the other side of the campus were repeatedly disrespectful to the teacher, and disturbed other students who were attempting to learn. Some Black students attend schools in which they must pass through security checkpoints upon entry. In this type of environment, struggling school districts are forced to divert resources towards security, rehabilitation and prevention programs, rather than education This handicaps their ability to properly educate Black students, thereby furthering the harm done unto us, by placing us further behind white students. If You want to Hide It From Black People, Put It in a Book! This saying is an insult to us as Black people, but it exists because of the prevailing notion – which is sometimes truthful – that Black people do not read. I have witnessed its existence as negroes criticized me for reading, while others relied upon Black readers like me to educate them because they were too lazy to read and educate themselves. From my experience, such Black folks often come from families in which their parents are as ignorant and stupid as they are; their ignorance appears to have been the result of the way that they were raised. Such inferences appear to revert back to the notion that they reject learning because they have low self-esteem, as a result of how white people have mistreated us. A lack of scholastic aptitude is the result of a lack of parental involvement in the education of the child. If a parent does not express an interest in their child’s education, then it is unlikely that the child will value learning. This mindset can also increase when a child hears their parent disparage the learning process. And when a child does things like ditch school, and the parent fails to report their truancy, the parent becomes an accomplice to their child’s absenteeism, thereby increasing the harm done unto them. I have always wondered if a parent truly cares about their child, if they continue caring for a minor child that has dropped out of school. Beyond school, the types of Black people who I have been in conflict with have been insecure and uneducated. Such people allow their inferiority complex to compel them to be jealous of my intellect. Although I am not arrogant, nor am I condescending in my interactions with others, it seems as if some Black people who lack what other Black people have, are truly the “crab in the buck” that many of us speak of. Rather than support other Black people in their endeavors, jealous negroes attempt to pull other Black people down to their level, so that they will not be alone in their ignorance and stupidity. This form of intra-racial conflict only benefits the enemy, because it keeps us fragmented and divided, rather than unified and able to learn from one another. Many Black folks love to run their mouths and criticize other Blacks, as is often displayed on internet message boards. Rather than engage in intellectual debates, said people state stereotypes as fact; fail to provide any evidence to support their false arguments; and disparage Blacks with personal attacks because their lack of intellectual acuity, and their insecurities, compels them to attack the person, rather than the argument. The ability to engage in an intellectual debate is developed through years of careful study; the skill with which someone can present their argument in an intelligent manner is something that can garner them credibility. Education can also breed civility, so that those of us who are confident in our intellect have no need to launch personal attacks against our own people, when we engage in discussions with them. Some of the aforementioned types of stupidity is likely the result of trans-generational beliefs and stereotypes. In addition to a disdain for education being passed down from generation to generation, stereotypes of learning are also communicated to younger folk. Some older Blacks tell Black youth that reading too much can cause insanity; or that it can cause someone to become stupid; while also doing things like talking loudly while a young Black student is studying, thereby disrupting that potential scholar’s ability to learn. When Black youth are taught to respect their elders, and their elders spread lies that imply that Black youth should not read, it is natural that those youth will reject learning. It is also no surprise that many of the Black people who reject reading, believe that they only book that should be read is the Bible. Biblical reliance and the christian faith, excluding worldly knowledge, is what truly breeds stupidity! Biblical Dependency Breeds a Slave to White supremacy To me, the Bible is a history book that offers a testament to past people and events, and offers lessons that can be used in the present and future. But the reason that some Black folks use it to the exclusion of other books and worldly knowledge, is because the devil forced it upon our ancestors. This was accompanied by the forced subjugation to the false belief system of christianity. Because of this, Black people who idolize the Bible refuse to reject christianity because they love the honkey and they do not want to offend him. During slavery, literacy for our ancestors was outlawed. Despite this, slaves who could read were allowed to read the Bible, which was the only book in which they were permitted to indulge. And in order to eleveate the status of christianity – and of the white man – within the negro mind, christian holidays were the only days from which slaves were alleviated from the burden of servitude. Christianity, as used by white supremacists, creates obedient, passive slaves who will consider their miserable plight at being god’s will. In this environment, slaves will not seek happiness as they live; they will await a reprieve from suffering after they die. These misguided beliefs have Black christians resisting the truth about their lover (the white man). Such feelings of love are what has caused many of them to reject learning, because history has taught them that the honkey disfavors Black intellectualism. The Causes of Black Anti-Intellectualism Successive generations of Black people have instilled an anti-education mentality into their progeny. As a majority of us have completed high school – and some of us have completed college – too many of our brothers and sisters have abandoned their education because they did not consider it important. Rather than respect the sacrifices that were made by Black students of yesteryear by receiving the education that said Blacks fought to achieve, they reject the thing that our ancestors sacrificed for, and desired most: an education. Statistically, people who earn more money than others have attained a higher level of education than people who earn less than they do. And because of racism, white criminals are often hired before Black people who have no criminal record. This means that lacking an education is not economically in our best interest, because Black people who are economic slaves will lack the earning capacity that could be used to benefit our people. Many people who are economic “wage-slaves” hate their jobs! They go to work everyday looking forward to the time that they will leave. Such people perform their dead-end jobs with no reasonable expectation that they will achieve economic independence and self-sufficiency. For many young people, that reality is frightening, and that fear causes us to seek the independence that many older Black people have longed for. During my childhood, my mother taught me about the importance of learning; teachers recognized my aptitude and took an interest in me; O.G. gangsters told me to avoid their pitfalls; and the gang-bangers and criminals that I matured with supported my progression, even as they endured hardships. All of this has likely been influential in my quest for independence through methods other than living a criminal lifestyle. Unfortunately, many other people from my neighborhood sought independence illegally, which has had the opposite effect that they desired, because it has strengthened the bonds that honkeys are more than willing to use to suppress them. The rejection of learning in favor of a criminal lifestyle has resulted in them being used to benefit the Prison-Industrial Complex, which is a tool of white supremacy that is used to enslave Black men for the economic benefit of the devil. Prison Industrial Complex: Modern chattel Slavery Since the end of slavery, many crackers have traded the overseer’s whip, or white dress and hoods, for police uniforms. It is of no importance whether those police personnel work on the streets, or inside of prisons; they are persistent in violating the rights of, and abusing Black males, because of their unjustified hatred and fear of us. And they are rarely prosecuted for their misdeeds, because there are other honkeys that work in prosecutors offices and the U.S. Department of Justice, who do not care to prevent Black people from being mistreated. Regardless of the socio-economic status of the area in which the honkey works: ghetto or suburb, rich or poor area; all Black people, criminal and non-criminal alike, are subjected to their tyranny. This is done not only because they hate us, but because it is part of an organized effort to secure cheap labor for corporations and the government, since chattel slavery is illegal. In this environment, government correctional bureaucracies operate as major industries: Is it necessary and proper for the California Department of Corrections to have an $8 billion budget, which is more than the gross national product of many countries? Black males constitute a large percentage of the inmates within American jails and prisons. Many of them are uneducated, which has likely played a role in the choices that they have made. As such, they are easy prey for racist cops, because they are ignorant of their rights, and fearful of white law enforcement personnel. When black males are either unaware of their rights, or are too fearful to fight for them, the devil will habitually violate those rights. Such behavior has resulted in the widespread incarceration of Black males. If the police operated in white neighborhoods the way that they operate in our neighborhoods, there would be many more white inmates and convicted criminals than there currently are. Drug sales and usage, robbery, and other crimes are more prevalent in white neighborhoods than they want people to believe. But, due to the goal being to remove Black males from society in order to perform slave labor for this capitalistic state, aggressive policing in white neighborhoods is unlikely to occur. Those uneducated Black males who are released from the enslavement of the penal system, will likely experience rejection upon returning to society. Very few employers are wiling to hire felons, and those who do are likely to only hire felons to perform menial tasks for low wages. This arrangement is profitable for business and the United States Treasury, but harmful to the underclass. With such dire prospects, some Black males continue being criminals as a means of survival. Making bad decisions increases the probability for their continued enslavement; others choose to perform their low paying jobs and remain economic slaves. Life in America is already hard for us. It is said that a white convict is more likely to be hired for a position than a Black person with no criminal record. Due to this discrimination, no Black person should reject the acquisition of an education, because to do so increases the probability that they will suffer, and be unhappy, in a racist, white-controlled society. Education Can Destroy White Supremacy White supremacy has become the ideology that controls world policy, because of the ignorance of people of color. In Africa, Asia, and the America’s, the devil raped, pillaged, and plundered his way to power. He was successful because he took advantage of the naïveté, and peaceful nature of Blacks and other non-white peoples. When our ancestors extended their hand in friendship, honkeys chopped that hand off and mistreated our people for their own benefit. We must therefore educate ourselves academically, and about historical truths and the true nature of white people, so that the devil will never again succeed at prevailing over us. Many people say that “Education is the Future,” and for Black people that is an understatement! For us, it is the key to our survival, because the enduring ignorance that many of our people possess, is destroying us. Although we instructed the barbarians from Europe about how to live in a civilized society, along with educating them about math and the sciences, we are now dependant upon the resources of white-controlled nations in order to educate ourselves. The atrocities that have been committed against us have rendered many Black people stupid, causing them to reject the tool that can be used to alleviate our suffering. Throughout the world, a lot of our people lack access to schools. In Black countries where there is no compulsory schooling, there may be a lack of the resources that are needed to operate schools. A lot of the Black people who live in those countries have exhibited a strong desire for learning, which is a mentality that will assist the destruction of white supremacy. It is also pleasing that, according to (Page, 2007, ¶3), Black immigrants to the United States of America are more likely to receive a college degree than all other immigrants, including Asians, who are considered the “model minority.” Our home continent has been raped of its people and mineral wealth. White-controlled countries only offer conditional assistance from suffering for Africans in Africa, when it is beneficial to them. This is not true goodwill and brotherhood. The offer of help with ulterior motives, makes it incumbent upon those of us who possess the knowledge and the resources need to help our people, to do so. It is heartening when Blacks throughout the Diaspora desire an education; and it is very disheartening when Blacks in America, who have access to a free education, reject it. Fear of the Educated Black Man An educated Black man is a threat to the white supremacist power structure! This fear has existed throughout history, as evinced by Frederick Douglas in his autobiography. In episode #10 “Storm Warnings” of the second season of the HBO show The Wire, an educated brother on the show proposed an interesting joke: “You know what the most dangerous thing in America is, right?...nigga with a library card!” Although this was a joke that was spoken in a fictional television show, it is emblematic of the fears that honkeys have of educated Black men. A “nigga” who starts reading will begin to learn the truth about the devil, and will begin challenging him. “Nigga’s” who continue being “nigga’s” will remain the slaves of white supremacy, which pleases the devil. (Reviewing Frederick Douglas’s biography, which detailed the horrors of slavery, caused me to wonder how any Black person could affectionately refer to another Black person as a “nigga”) In my hometown, the police department – which is filled with wicked, evil, honkey peckerwood crackers – hate me more than career criminals who reside within that city. I have no criminal record, and should therefore not warrant their scrutiny. The reason that I have attracted their ire is because I am an educated Black man who refused to be a passive victim of theirs. They consider me a threat because of the potential that I possess to get other Blacks to resist their tyranny. The mind of a white supremacist, such as the aforementioned police personnel, is filled with the belief that Black people are innately dumb niggers; they get angry when we exceed their extremely low expectations of us. Our achievements mean nothing to them. They consider successful Black people “anomalies,” as was Neo in The Matrix trilogy, and they want us eliminated, because they fear that we will rouse the “good negras”. (Black people should watch The Matrix trilogy closely, because the travails of Neo parallel the Black Experience under white supremacy. Those movies, along with The Legend of Bagger Vance, also reveal a truth that white people have hidden from us: that the Black man taught the white man how to achieve excellence!) All Black males in my neighborhood were subjected to being mistreated, and having our rights violated for no legal reason. Whereas many of my contemporaries were ignorant of their rights because of their lack of education, I knew mine because I had always embraced learning. That knowledge caused the racist devils of that police department to seek my removal, because they wanted to terrorize Black people with impunity, and without resistance. I have been the victim of a government conspiracy because I refused to acquiesce to the tyranny of white crackers. Rather than submit to white supremacy, and complain about my mistreatment outside of the devil’s presence, I invoked my rights; refused to allow them to be violated with impunity; told those devils to their faces what I though about them; and compelled other Black folks to resist our tormentors. Because of those activities, and after years of ignoring my complaints, the police sought to eliminate me; it is one thing to complain and be dismissed as a crazy nigger. But when an educated, articulate Black man begins to influence others, the honkey will seek to silence him! Have No Fear The danger that intelligent Black people might encounter when challenging white supremacy, should not cause Black people to be content with stupidity. White supremacy thrives upon Black ignorance, because people who are dumb can easily be manipulated and controlled. Obtaining an education is the most important tool that we can use to destroy the white supremacist power structure - it provides us with the knowledge that is needed to operate in modern society, which is controlled by whites. Intelligence will hinder the devil’s ability to control us, and learning from our own research will keep us apprised of the true nature of the honkey. Before the devil arrived in Africa with a Bible in one hand, and a gun in the other, our ancestors were the scholars of planet earth. It is said that a modern civilization can revert back to Stone Age ways of living in only a few years, if warfare erupts within that society. When considering the fact that varying forms of war have been waged upon Africans for over 2,000 years, it is no surprise that many of our people are suffering throughout the world. Because of this, we cannot rely upon white people to help us: we must help ourselves! The way that we can help ourselves is by obtaining an education. Learning teaches us the knowledge, facts, and self-sufficiency that is needed to operate within modern society. Rejecting the acquisition of knowledge will only handicap us. We should strive to exceed the level of intellectualism, and modernity, that was possessed by our ancestors before the devil disturbed them. The desire to learn is not an expression of the desire to be white! Only a stupid negro who has been brainwashed by white supremacy would believe that foolish notion. None of the people who have been referred to as our leaders and spokespersons have been dumb people. And since they advocate for us against white oppression, stupid negroes should not disparage the people who might be their future leader, and from whom they might request help. Obtaining an education is a fulfilling endeavor. It can give someone the feeling of being a more complete person, because they are able to understand aspects of living that an uneducated person cannot. The inability to understand the operation of the world that someone lives within, should be enough for them to want to learn. Learning is not limited to formal schooling, and should include reading for leisure, and staying abreast of world events. Acquiring knowledge of our illustrious past through our own efforts can be particularly enlightening. Considering this, there are no legitimate excuses for not reading something. Black ignorance is needed in order for white supremacy to thrive. Therefore, all Black people who love themselves – and want the Black race to flourish – should desire an education. It is said that “Knowledge Is Power,” therefore if we are to return to power, we must acquire knowledge by securing an education. Stupid people cannot rise to become the elite, because they are ignorant of the past, and how it relates to the future. An inquisitive and discerning mind – as revealed through reasoning and logic – is developed as one becomes educated. Because of this, our people will continue to suffer, and the influence of white supremacy will continue to prevail, unless we strive for intellectual excellence, and acquire wisdom through all available means.
